FYI: San Diego Clarinet Society played a concert in honor of Dan Magnusson on Monday, July 29th, at Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, CA. We used a choir of 30--from Eefer to Contra-Bass--and played selections from Brahms to Hoagy Carmichael. More than 200 of Dan's former students and friends attended. SDCS would like to invite anyone in the San Diego area to join us at our next meeting on Sunday, October 13th. Please contact me for details. Chuck

Dam! (as the fish said when he swam into the concrete wall)
Next time you play a concert in New York, let me know.

I played contrabass clarinet on this concert- it was a blast!
There will be a photo or two of the clarinet choir posted to my website at www.jayeaston.com in a week or two- as soon as I get a chance...
