I am trying to find a really good recording of the Weber Concertino so I can base my style of playing the piece on this. Any suggestions?

I played that for my college auditions and found a recording of Paul Meyer playing it accompanied by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Gunther Herbig. I have no other recordings for comparison, but Meyer's version is very good. It's faster overall than I played it.(8:36)

The recording is by Denon, number CO-79551. PCM Digital is also on the label. The CD features 2 Concertos for clarinet by Weber along with the Concertino.

Good luck finding more recordings!

I have an EMI recording by Sabine Meyer which I like. The time on it is just over 9 minutes. The EMI catalog # is 0777 7 47351 2 4

listen to more than one recording then create your own style within the average tempi, dynamice, articulations etc you find.

Todd is right, the Sabina meyers CD is excellent. Angella is also very correct! Don't ever base the way you play something on a recording of someone else. That is not music. My teacher for my undergrad (Peter Hadcock) wouldn't even let me listen to a recording until I had figured out how I wanted to play it. It's very good advice angella.
