I really like the way Mike collins tackles Weber and wondered if anyone in Cyberspace knew what mouthpiece(s) he plays on? <<DD>>

david-
Michael Collins has used mainly three mouthpieces over the years. These are a J.D Hite, a Charles Bay and, most recently, a Vandoren B40 13 series. Also, all mouthpieces used with Vandoren Optimum ligature. If you're talking about the rectial recording of him on EMI (I assume you refer to Weber grand duo concertante), that recording was done on a Hite mouthpiece. Hope this helps!
