Henderson Field, Karl King, in the key of F concert if my memory serves me correctly and doesn't change key at the trio like most marches. It's a nice training march for middle school bands. I'm glad you are enjoying it.

And where is Henderson Field (they all asked)? On Midway Island. It played an important role in the Battle of Midway.

Hi Everyone,
There is also a Henderson Field on Guadalcanal. I'd suspect it was even more important in the Pacific War than the "other" Henderson Field. As I recall, when the US Marines captured Henderson Field on Guadalcanal from the Japanese, that was a turning point in that campaign.
