It's been years since I've been in studio...
Is the Klose "Celebrated Method for Clarinet Complete" the same animal as the "Complete Method"? I'm looking for the Complete Method and all roads seem to point to the Celebrated Method. Even the sheetmusicplus.com link atop this page only points to the Celebrated Method.
Many thanks!

My Klose book says on the front Celebrated Method for the Clarinet, then underneath it says Complete, Part I, Part II. Revised and enlarged by Simeon Bellison. Carl Fischer Inc.

My forty year-old edition says:
H.KLOSÉ Méthode Complète de Clarinette
à Paris chez ALPHONSE LEDUC, Editions Musicales,
176, Rue Saint-Honoré près l’avenue de l’Opéra.
I wonder if they are still there.

Carol: Mine is the same, even with a picture of old Simeon, an Albert player, holding a Boehm Clarinet. Wonder where he borrowed it.
Regards,
John

Thanks, all. I once had the Celebrated Method book. Now I need another copy. Glad to know it's the same as the Complete Method.

To Michael Binn and Javier Garcia,
As of yesterday, it was still there.

To beejay,
Thank you for this information. I will be in Paris in October, and I might visit this address. What exactly would I find there?

Its the same book...
It is also the scale pages and arpeggio studies that Marcellus thought so highly of. They are excellent as warm ups and give flexibility to your technique. The duet in the middle are tremendous fun, in fact the waltz in there is quite long and would be a good recital piece.
Sincerely DD>>
