also, anyone know of a detailed analysis written on this piece?
something like what ken shaw wrote for the weber concertino or what Sherman Friedland wrote for the stravinsky 3 pieces.

As regards to the MMP edition. I believe they use the exact same plates as the Durand edition. So any mistakes that may be in the Durand edition, will likely be in the MMP. I have never seriously sat down and broken the Sonata apart. But i don't recall any errors, atleast as far as notes.
Unless there's an error that is just screaming out wrong, i tend to play over typos with what actually sounds correct and sometimes never notice until someone points it out. So i could have missed something.
