I have bought an old (?70 years old) Selmer wooden alto clarinet which has two octave or register keys. I am told you have to switch from one to the other at some point in the clarion register. How do I find out more - or how do I get a fingering chart for this. Otherwise it looks like a standard modern Boehm key set.

All you have to do is use the lower of the two register keys for B flat(middle of stave) to E flat, then the higher of the two register keys for E natural(top space in stave) and above. You may even find a better crossover point with a bit of experimenting!
Let us know how it goes
