Just to liet you know there is a player who posts on this board from time to time who I have taken lessons with who is very good. His name is David Dow and he is Current Pricipal Clarinet of Sympony Nb ( Canada) his main teacher were: Harold Wright, Kalmen Bloch, Guy Dangain, Robert Fontaine, and David Glazer. He has also worked actively in Chamber Music and has had a number of Canadian composers write for him. Most recent is the Richard Kidd Nocturne for Clarinet, and his Sonato for Clarinet and Piano. Mr. dow can be heard on this music on Hornpipe records called "Changing Illusions." I can also atrtest to the excellence of his orchestral work as I attend the Symphony Concerts regularly. He received his Diploma for Clarinet Performance from Boston Conservatory. He also frequently performs in a variety of local groups. Dr. Jacob M.
