 Selmer Paris, Eb SN: K2202 need more info please..

I acquired a Selmer Paris, Eb Clarinet SN: K2202 recently. I was wondering if any of you know more about the serial number, I cant seem to find a K series information anywhere. The instrument appears old, deffinately around 1940 or earlier. It is also marked Brevete on the main piece and S.G.D.G(I think if I remember correctly). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
