Does anyone know where I can find the CD "Blues for Sabine?" I tried Amazon.com, but I can't seem to find it.

I was in Tower Records yesterday, and they had a dozen copies on display.

It isn't listed on Tower Records or any of the other CD web sites I know of. Must be some copies floating around as Ken indicates. Maybe you can special order it from Tower Records.

*wimper* How i wish Houston had a store half as good as Tower or Virgin Records. The closest Tower and Virgin is in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. and from what my partner tells me, neither of them are even half of what the Towers and Virgins of Chicago, London, Vegas, etc are. The Tower in Dallas is lucky to have a dozen clarinet recordings total. Much less a dozen copies of one record. And as usual, the most common record they have (as with every other place) is Stoltzman's "Aria" record... *ick*

How i long for a decent store in Texas. :-(

Actually the regular Tower store in Las Vegas only has half the classical music it did a few years ago. I went in last Friday and they had only five clarinet CDs (3 Stoltzmann). The other two surprised me, however. As they are both reasonably new.

Oh, well.. that's a shame... My partner visited and friend in Vegas a couple or three weeks ago and stopped in for a quick look... he listens to jazz (mostly 1950's and before) more than classical so he probably didn't really lookin the clarinet section.

Someday i wanna see the Towers or Virgins in Chicago and London. He says the one in London is like 5 floors. And the ones in Chicago are almost or just as big. <sigh>

I just got my copy of Blues for Sabine through a small classical music shop. They special ordered it for me from EMI Europe. It's well worth the wait!

Did you try www.cdnow.com? It seems like they have a pretty good selection.

The Tower records in the San Francisco area aren't bad.
