Since our other Reform Boehm thread has joined the archives, I'll add here what I have found re: the R B and German/French comparisons. From a bit of reading the fine print listing of earlier articles in the ICA Journals, the July/Aug 1991 pg 18 is on the R B, the May/June 1992 pg 25 is on the Hammerschmidt Boehm and the Feb/Mar 1992 pg 24 on acoustical comparisons Fr/Ger. Without detailed study of them, I have found little description of keying differences, which is my principal interest. I will look further and report any significant info. Don

I found an earlier article by David Feller on comparisons which will require study. ICA "The Clarinet" Summer 1984 V 11 # 4, pg 24+. There is discussion re: the R B in the Recommendations section pg 27, and an Oehler fingering chart. READ, Don

The reform Boehm Yamahas are in my opinion not very good, so don't consider this an alternative to a Boehm system clarinet. They are in my opion out of tune!
