Hi everyone, its my first posting here, I just got a Pruefer Silver throat Deluxe. The serial number is 57045 wich is not on the serial number list on Sneezy.org. Anyway can you poeple tell me more about this instrument? What does Silver throat stand for? It's a hard rubber or a wooden body?
Any info welcome
thanks

They made good clarinets, and like with Bettoney and Pedler et al, it is sad that their names and the innovations they created are just part of our USA cl/mfg. history, and the latter are only infrequently employed by the French/British dominated cl making/selling industry. Perhaps it is "survival of the fittest" , who can say? I've lost what I think I wanted to say, our operatic daughter in law called, and I'm short on time to go to my comm band. Will post again! Don
