I just wanted to say how much I enjoy and look forward to using and reading the postings on this board. The responses to postings are helpful and often brilliant. What incredible people frequent this bulletin board!!!

I agree. Everyonce in a while someone gets on a high horse and start to p--- & m---. If people aren't happy with this great board with the information, insight, teachings, sharing our love of the clarinet --why do they even bother.
Happy tooning.

I agree.
As a returning player, I've learned alot from this resource.
I wonder how good a player I would have been if this forum was available 30 years ago.........

I agree with everything said here, but we should not pooh-pooh dissent either. Otherwise we'll end up like a peoples democracy.

Yes - I've said this before, but this IS a great resource. How I ever survived learning the clarinet as a youngster without the internet and this support group I'll never know!

I agree..I love this board, but agree with Beejay, all should be allowed to post their opinions about it, once we know other peoples complaints and problems with it who knows; it might get even better.

With all its growing pains, Sneezy's still the best place to visit for all of the above reasons (and more).

It's about time we got a compliment instead of a complaint if you ask me!! I enjoy this board a lot too.

Well, speaking as a negativist grinch, I enjoy it a lot as well. But I do like a clash of ideas from time to time as well as ligature discussions.

I would also like to echo wjk's comments. I recently started playing again after a career-long hiatus and, from this site (1) I found a good technician to overhaul my old B&H 1010 (and, more importantly, learned what an overhaul should accomplish), (2) I learned about the importance of the mpc (when I was a kid, you played the one that came with the horn) and found a good one suited to the 1010, and (3) I learned something about tuning, bought a tuner, recognised that I needed a longer barrel, and found a good one, again suited to the 1010.
Without the Clarinet Pages, I expect I may have just given up in frustration. KF
