I'm no artist - if you look around the site you'll quickly figure that out ;^)
I need a logo for Woodwind.Org, and if you're willing to give a permanent license to use to me I could use your help!
The logo has to be 234 x 60, in GIF, JPG, or PNG format. No animations, please. The picture needs to be inclusive of flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, and horn (yeah, I know horn isn't a woodwind, but it is a traditional member of a woodwind quartet), though it need not depict any of these instruments.
Judges: Me. In case of a tie I'll post the logos and ask for feedback.
I'd like to have entries emailed to charette@woodwind.org before August 31 if possible.
Your prize? Millions of page views a year, and your name in the "ALT" section of the logo - "Woodwind.Org, logo created by and © your name"

Saxophones are a different breed of cat ... I have to limit the scope of the site somewhat, so I selected the 5 instruments that comprise the woodwind quintet and decided that that will be the ultimate scope of the entire site. Considering the amount of material available for the flute it actually would make some sense to drop it ... but then I'd have even <b>more</b> explaining to do ;^)

Just curious but does all of this mean that in the future we can look forward to an Oboe Bulletin Board, Flute BBoard, Bassoon BBoard, and Horn BBoard all under the www.woodwind.org name?

I have designed a logo for WOODWIND.ORG which I think you would be very interested in seeing. My problem is that I don't know how to send it to you in the format you requested.
I have printed it out and would like to mail it to you if you could supply me with an address. If you decide to use it, I'm sure it would not be a problem to have it converted to your preferred format.
