Hello,
What are the selmers, that have no model on then, classified as? If the serial number falls in the middle of the CTs, does that make it a CT or something else?
Thanks
Bob

justbob,
Selmer used CT/BT/RI etc for marketing purposes in the US. Serial numbers in the same range as these have the same designs. The instrument was purchased in Europe probably.

J B says it very well [per my experience] with my '32 RI full Boehm and now 3 P series '52-3 17/6 's. HOWEVER, the 3 P's, ?all CT's??, are widely diff. from each other in playing character, ranging from "resistant" to "free", "dark" to "bright" with the same mp/reed!, in accord with ser #s 22xx [not model-marked, a Fr import, I'm told] to 97xx, so "go-figure"!!. All are VG, but being an old dance-bander, I prefer the P 970x!! Will try it on church-classics before long, may post results. Luck, Don
