Help please.
We're committed to perform Franz Krommer's Octet-Partita in Bb Opus 67.
If possible we'd like to access a recording of this. All my searches thus far have been fruitless.
Anyone out there know of one we can get pronto ??

Bob T... There has only been one recording of Krommer's Opus 67. It was by the Nash Ensemble. The recording details are as follows:
DVOŘÁK: Serenade in D Minor for Winds, op. 44. KROMMER: Octet-Partita in B-Flat, op. 67. Octet-Partita in E-Flat, op. 79. The Nash Ensemble. CRD 3410 [ADD]; 66:10. Produced by Simon Lawman. (Distributed by Qualiton.)
Since it is an older recording, availability may be difficult...GBK

If you would like to hear some of the others (for free) to get some idea of his idiom, go to:
<www.naxos.com>
and search their catalog for Krommer (composer) and octet (composition).
Best regards,
jnk

I have a Vinyl recording of the Netherlands Ensemble doing 3 of the Krommer Partitas, but Op.67 isn't among them. :-( I thought i had another record of Krommer partitas, but i haven't found it yet. Will let you know if i run across it.
