good news about the opperman reed book. Does anyone know of a type of Jig invented by Mr Opperman that I'm told was used for securely holding a reed blank (as opposed to holding it with your hand and fingers) while peeling bark and making preliminary cuts with reed knife before putting blank on reed dual? I have a hard time controlling my knife with the way I hold the reed in my hand and my hand tends to cramp up sometimes; have been told by a colleague that opperman invented something for holding the blank. If no one knows of this jig, would anyone know of an mailing address or email address that would put me in contact with Mr Opperman.? Sincerely, Jeanine
