Gee......that subject seems a little sad doesn't it.
I was just wondering if there were any of you bb'rs who live in North East Texas.
I would love to play/learn from with others who are serious about playing and actually enjoy it.
Thanks,
Becky

Becky, we have [my] fine comm band in Tulsa, OK, [always need cls!] also OK City has at least one, quite a ways, tho. Have you checked on Marshall, Shreveport, Paris etc ?, maybe you can become a "founding member" of a [true] multi Community Band . Much enjoyment! Don

I currently play with a Church Orchestra, which I enjoy. But that is very limited to one Special Music piece and a "hand full" of contemporary hymns each Sunday Morning and evening. Occasionaly there isn't a clarinet part and they give a trumpet part to play. So you see........I get a little frustrated. I would love to play with another clarinet for duets and such.
Tulsa and OK City are a little too far for me to drive, but thank you for the invite. The same for Philo......:)
I'll do a search and see what/who I can find.
Thanks,
Becky

As soon as I get a few lessons, I will be glad to play with you. I have just today found a clarinet teacher in Texarkana and start lessons in July.
Give me awhile.....

Becky,
I have not played a clarinet since the 6th grade, so don't hold your breath while you are waiting.
Be assured, I am persistant and dedicated to this task, and work best under pressure. So should not take too long.
Jim
