Work on the slow movewment first which has some very tricky bits for ensemble, especially the syncopation in the strings. Do the Gypsy section in strict tempo until learned and then add stylistic rubato of your own choice. In the first movement watch closely for the intonation of the low a especially at the ending. Give plenty of cues in difficult entrance's and establish eye cotact with who ever has the lead line in the strings for precision..Good luck and have fun. Also listen to several interpretations: ieLeister, and David Glazer and David Shifrin are the finest versions.
