Ten dollars is not a bad price for a black (or purple?) lacquer finish, badly bashed soprano sax.

That is no way a clarinet. It looks to me like a normal soprano sax with an abnormal bell.

It is a very mangled soprano sax. Almost certainly so badly mangled as to be not worth repairing.

Verdict: A Soprano sax that has been bashed in the middle towards the top. The (Lack of) quality of the photos don't help either.

It is (or was) definitely a soprano sax. It has the requisite saxophone side-of-the-finger keys on both sides, as well as the key-and-pad construction to cover the tone holes. Some people must think a lot of it, because the bid was up to $86 when I looked at it just now.

Over $123.00 now. It may be a custom (800 series) soprano which are very good horns but this one looks destined for spare parts.

It looks salvagable to me.

I hope it's salvageable @ $1,124.99!
