Marcellus played a set of Buffet R-13s that had been set up by Hans Moennig. Apparently the alterations were very extensive. There was a series of postings on the Klarinet board recently by Alvin Swiney, a repairman who was apprenticing with Moennig at the time. Search in the Klarinet archives under Marcellus and Moennig to find them. A good one is at http://www.sneezy.org/Databases/Logs/1999/05/000596.txt

Search on Moennig and Swiney for an excellent series of descriptions of Moennig's work.

Have fun. Subscribe to the Klarinet list if you're not already on it. It's completely different from this board - lots of professional players and college professors, with lively and often furious debates.
