Some friends of mine gave me a new clarinet. It looks kind of old, and is the brand Buckingham. Has anyone ever heard of this brand, and know whether it is good or bad?

Never heard of it, but you may get the "Royal" treatment whenever you play. Bottom line--as Duke Ellington say's--"If it sounds good, it is good." Let your ears be the judge, and Good Clarineting!!!
