I'm looking for a gold or silver inverted Harrison bass clarinet ligature. Anyone out there got any?

If you can't find one, check eBay now and then and also check the Rico reed site. They are selling a reproduction of the Harrison lig.

I have an M Lurie [straps top and bottom], fabric/rubber which I use both ways [rods on reed {much like Bonades} and back] and "regulars" and I cant tell any diff in tonality. I have a Harrison Bb lig, but prefer Bonades and Luybens. Luck, Don

The BW WW catalog I have shows a long list of Harrison ligs. I have heard of some breakage problems with this lig, perhaps due to stresses from the few "reed-contact-points" and/or over-tightening. You might try an inexpensive, plastic Luyben which is somewhat similar in reed contact. I'd suggest a phone call/E Mail to several of the suppliers. Good luck! Don
