Does anyone know the bore dimensions of the Yamaha-YCL-SEV B-flat clarinet? While a description of the clarinet appears on several websites I cannot find this information.
Thank you,
Martin Shapiro

Martin - try Yamaha's website - they have contact information, I'm sure you won't have any problems getting from the horses mouth.

Martin,
Are you considering buying one or just
curious? After more than 30 years playing
Buffets, I've just settled on an SEV as
my next instrument.

Dan,
I currently play a Selmer 9. At the Clarinetfest in August I tried an SE and an SEV the next day. I liked the sound of both and found the SE to be an easier blowing instrument (of course, had I sampled more of each the results may have differed). While I am curious I will be in the market for a new instrument in the future and definitely plan to try out the Yamahas.

If the Se-V is anything like as nice as my new CS-V then you won't go far wrong,I too used to play Buffet's.

Martin,
If you've not done so already, you might
search the Klarinet Archives for Yamaha SEV.
None of the messages there answers your
bore size question, but some are interesting.
