I tried the JodyJazz mpc for clarinet about 3 weeks ago. I play a Vito V40 and found the mpc to be quite resistant using my #2 Legere reed. The low note section was quite mellow but seemed "airy", as if it lacked a fullness in quality. I could hardly make any notes at all in the altisimo range. I was quite surprised when I saw the word "Runyon" on the mpc. I did like the unique design of the mpc along with the red color, but had to return it. Hope this helps.

Since this is a "jazz" mouthpiece, is it posible the facing is cut for a Pete Fountaine type clarinet? What about a different reed and lig? Did you experiment with anything other than your regular set up?

Quijote,
What language are you trying to speak? Surely not Latin, given your "rebuttal" to Bob A.'s correction of your verb form in "res ipso loquitur."
Punchy Stanzas
(I decided I like that better than 'nut. Where DID you get YOUR ridiculous nom de internet, BTW?)
