 E flat & orchestra

Just in the middle of making a recording of film-music by Shostakovitch which features the Eb, as you might expect. The score of 'Maxim' uses it in Shost's usual style, loud and high, but the music for the film 'King Lear' has 2 short movements for entirely unaccompanied Eb which are quite beautiful. Came as quite a shock.
