You answered "yes" to 103 of 208 questions, making you 50.5% band/corps pure (49.5% band/corps corrupt); that is, you are 50.5% pure in the band/corps domain.
*sigh* I miss Marching band sometimes.
Heck I miss band completely most of the time-- I hate being a Music Ed major not "good enough" for the touring band because the band director hates me and is totally stuck on the suburbians up here who had private lessons from age 2.

I am 41.9% band/corps pure..... I miss band too, now I'm at a college without a music program. I'm thinking about transferring and becoming a music ed major though.

They say I'm 74.5% pure in the Band/Corps domain, 24.5% "corps corrupt" whatever that is. FYI--Marched Drum Corps in highschool, Varsity Marching Band six years in college (lots of undergrad partying), judged D&B contests (brass captions) nationally for "too many" years--and now love life as an orchestral musician. It was--and still is--"A Wonderful Life." Good Clarineting (and, May You Never Walk Alone)

I have never been in a "marching band" in my life. I have played in amateur brass and military bands and in Army bands. These have all been bands that march rather than marching bands.
It says I am 82.7% pure in the Band/Corps domain, and correspondingly corrupt, as we all are. Looks like I have led a relatively corruption free life so far. I HAVE NEVER ENCOUNTERED AS BIG A LOAD OF BOLLOCKS AS THIS THREAD.

Ahh, the joys of marching band. I seriously doubt I'll be able to get "Winds of Poseidon" (last season's show) out of my head now...

I was 58.7%. My community band is an outlet for us oldsters, but they would all have heart attacks if we were asked to march. Sigh. A pity. They talked about using a flatbed truck to carry us in a parade once. Alas, my drum major uniform and whistle will rot away. Oh well, I couldn't get into it anyway.

That is totally stupid, however, it did make me laugh and, no, I won't confess what score I got. But it DID bring back memories.

I'm 93.3% pure.
There aren't many questions one can treat with sufficient ambiguity to even answer if one does not live with an American marching band culture. I took 'show' to mean musical theatre. Otherwise my score would be 100% pure.
I feel sorry for you all. That band culture must be almost as ***** as the rugby culture here in New Zealand. :-)

Yes, Gordon, but at least wedgies aren't part of it.
Best regards,
jnk
(89.3% pure and I had a great time in marching band wailing on a bass drum for 3 years. Now if they had asked any truly relevant questions about our bus trips .....)

You're right .... digusting wasn't it! He should have been crucified in the courts for indecent assault. I don't think he was - rugby is a national religion, but with an ever diminishing following, I hope. This country carries millstones of rugby and the Treaty of Waitangi.
