That IS probably what they used, Pam. A local shop had a large box of new mouthpieces that had come with some Chineese clarinets they sold. NONE of them would play! He handed me about 6 of them to fool around with and I've never been able to get any of them to speak. Think of the inpact this has on a rank begginer trying out their new horn. Not good. As for the one on eBay, somewhere, some clarinetist will show up at a gig "well oiled" and stick one of these in his chops and probably sue somebody. Could be interesting!
