Does anyone know a good place to find the specific clarinet requirements at various schools? I would like the answers to questions like: What skills are required for admission as a music major (ed. or perf.); What is required for each semester; etc. Howard Klug spells this our very clearly for his studio at IU in his book but what do other clarinet professors require?
Thanks for your help.

Please just contact the professors at the schools you are interested in. Anything else we could tell you would be guesswork, considering that even as we speak a professor may be changing his or her curriculum.

In agreeance with the last posting. Most schools have websites where they list email addresses for their professors, you could always look those up and ask the professors for the schools you are personally interested in. This would most likely be your best bet since anything else would be a guess and may not get you where you would want to be. Also most schools websites offer listings of required coursework and prereq's for admission... Hope that helps... Best of luck to you in all your endeavours.
