I am a senior in high school, and at the last orchestra concert of every year, my orchestra director lets all of the seniors play a concerto accomponied by the orchestra. I decided to do the Carl Stamitz Concerto #3 in Bb. I have the Drucker edition of the piano-accompanied version, so I know that it exists, and I have heard recordings of it, but my orchestra director and I can't seem to order the right orchestral parts. The first time we ordered it, the music company (I'm not sure of the name) sent us the Johann Stamitz Concerto #3 in Bb, and the second time, we recieved a Carl Stamitz Concertino in Bb. My question is this: Is there some other name or number that this concerto goes by, if it even exists? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you noticed who the publisher is of your clarinet and piano reduction - maybe they also have parts for hire. Good luck - maybe GBK in his supreme wisdom can shed some light on this. Also the international clarinet assocation (pardon if I've got their name wrong) has a huge library of scores ... they might just be worth looking at, too. Good luck.
