Sneezy.Org will be changing names shortly and become "Woodwind.Org" to better reflect what I intend it to become.
But never fear - the old name will still work. It'll just redirect you to exactly the same page as before - it'll just say www.woodwind.org instead.
As I move toward a real corporation / non-profit, the name has to look more "official", unfortunately. Getting some big philanthropic organization to grant money to Sneezy.Org is more problematic than getting them to give it to Woodwind.Org.
But ... we'll always have Sneezy.Org for ourselves ;^)

Whenever I show this site to friends, as I type in the URL they say "Sneezy? Is that a porn site?" I have to sit and explain that I'm part of a clarinet board. Maybe woodwind.org will be easier for them to digest.
Too bad. "Sneezy" had already grown on me by a long shot. Oh well, same board, right??

Yeah.
I feel very sad about it - it's now a piece of Internet folklore - but at least we can all keep typing in the old names and have it work anyway.

Bigwigphilanthropicalfinanciers may be imprrressed with "Woodwind.Org" -- 'regulars', however, will always remember ol' Sneezy.
But, as much as some of us may wish, nothing stands still forever.
Best wishes as you forge ahead, Mark

New name, but same old good stuff and company within it, what the heck... Long live Woodwind.org!

Agree with all the above and add my best wishes. It will make finding it by our newbies, easier, BUT, we lose the humor and the questions. Full speed ahead, Don

Can we infer that the bias of this site will start to diverge away from the clarinet towards more general woodwind topics? This would certainly be interesting, but I'm not sure I can cope with flautist's intonation, oboist's neuroses, saxophonist's built-in coolness or bassoonist's discussion of seat-straps replacing our's of ligatures.
Thanks for all your hard work,
jez

Not this part of the site.
Years back I anticipated this kind of move, and if you look at the URL you'll see it says http://www.sneezy.org/clarinet. There is no major subdivision except clarinet, but someday there may be. But not for a very long time!

Mark -
Have you thought about changing your name to S. Bentley Prescott IV?
