Buffet Elite barrel and bell

Hi everyone,

I'm very curious to know whether the barrel and bell of a Buffet Elite can fit onto another buffet clarinet for e.g a RC Prestige?

Do they fit nicely together and will there be any changes in pitch or sound, for example the resonance of a RC prestige is better with Elite barrel and bell.

I read before something that says that in the Elite clarinet, metal rings are eliminated to enhance the resonance. Can it work on other buffet clarinet with just the Elite Barrel and Bell?

I just hope somebody could enlightened me for this, just curious to know.....thanks a lot!!!
