Here in D.C. too. raining... I have a quick question by the way..
When I transpose Concerto pitch to Eb what am I doing? (I know concert to Bb is taking up major second but Eb!!!!) and Concerto pitch to F too. (actually I'm arranging a music for my band). Thanks.

Here in the upper Midwest it snowed a bit this a.m. I hate when Easter is this early, never know what to expect from Mother Nature.

To transpose concert pitch to E flat for an alto sax or alto clarinet part, take it up a major 6th.
To transpose concert pitch to E flat for an E flat (soprano) clarinet, take it down a minor 3rd.
