Hello everyone,
I need some advice. I really want to start doing things for myself and would like to pursue a solo career and start a chamber group. I am not quite sure where I should go but I feel it is time for me to get started. So the questions that I am wanting to know are:
How do you get started?, where is the hottest place to get my career going?, and where should I look?
Thank you for your advice
Sincerely
Susan

Susan: No matter where you want to go, even the best map in the world cannot tell you how to get there unless you know exactly where you are starting.
So, where are you?

As the owner of a successful team answered when asked how to make a small fortune in the automobile racing business: "Start with a large fortune". Hope you either have a steady non-music job, or lots of money saved up!

IMHO, it is not always wise to just go for a solo career. It can be extremely difficult to find a job and there is a lot of competition out there. There is always somebody out there that can be better than you. However, if you have the talent and the ability, then I say go for it! You have nothing to lose!
