 G Penzel Clarinets
Author: Wendy
Date:   1999-07-14 02:34

I'm trying to find information about G Penzel Clarinets. I was told to search the BB archives and I did (I searched Klarinet archives too) and all I've found is info about Penzel & Mueller clarinets. I'm almost sure it's the same Penzel, because somebody said that was a New York based company and the clarinet I saw was stamped with "G Penzel New York Professional" . I'm assuming Professional is the model. I saw somebody on the archives was selling a G Penzel C Clarinet that was made in the 1800's. Does anybody know anything else?

Wood or metal P-M Brilliante; $50 'as-is', $100 'playable', $150-200 'restored'.

You can check this by going to 'the online auction site' click on "advanced search", type in 'Brilliante' then check "completed listings". Should be several over the past year.
