In terms of graduate study, it depends on what you want to do when you are done. If you are interested in playing in an orchestra, Ricardo Morales is a very great teacher. His students are winning jobs now and also working around NYC.

Mark Nuccio is also an excellent teacher at Mannes. He plays in the NY Phil, of course.

Why is it always New York? Why doesn't anyone ever ask if anyone knows of a good clarinet teacher in the boonies of Utah?

"...If I can make it there, I'm gonna make it anywhere ..." (Fred Ebb/John Kander - "New York, New York")

Why New York? Because "It's the city so nice, they named it twice"...GBK

he doesn't teach at a school...but he taught Dan Gilbert, Dan Raiden, Ricardo Morales, Jon Manasse, and MANY more. I have the privelege of studying w/ him whenever i go home from school during the year and summers. Ever heard of David Weber? he's a wonderful man, and a GOLD MINE! He's 88, but still going. he's incredible. I love him like my grandfather. He's wonderful. I just can't say enough about him. :)
