Dear Folks,
Someone is playing a practical joke - note that the email address is not mine. I consideer it funny but posting under another person's name might possibly not be funny if the content was bogus and not the true belief of the supposed author.
I unfortunately will not be retiring early - I love my work and consider it the best way to greet the day. The Doctor's Products is a robust hobby that I also consider both fun and a service to the woodwind community (it may even break even this year in the cash flow department but not nearly enough to support my pension and love for fine instruments and musical "toys").
Thanks for the humor!

i knew the message was false. Because i got the job with the circus. I'll be teaching the horses how the play the clarinet. Great job. Should last about 20 minutes or so.

How do you know that this thread is not the bogus one and the one before was the real one just out of curiosity? the practical joke could be this L. Omar Henderson.

GBK, "cyphon" would be one thing, but "cypon"? "Clarinetest" didn't quite make it with me, either.
How do we know who's who? The Doctor has always been rather meticulous in his posts, a well-educated and careful person -- not some jerk off the turnip truck. But to the jokester's credit, the first foray is labeled "(Not) L. Omar Henderson," and check the second one's return address. It isn't the sort of stuff you'd expect ifrom anyone seriously trying to defraud.
