There are six etudes for saxophone/clarinet composed by Astor Piazzolla. They are all terrific and make good show pieces even though they were intended as etudes. They are fairly difficult but worth the effort. Can't remember the publisher but they were failry easy to find....

How about "Clarinetango" by Roberto Pansera, which he wrote for Giora Feidman? It may be heard on the CD of the same name, by Feidman, and the transcription may be found in the tunebook, "Magic of the Klezmer", which is also the name of another Feidman recording that does NOT contain this tune, so be sure you are buying the book, not the CD.

This is an Argentine tango, which has a smoother, less choppy rhythm than the European tangos like "Jalousie" or the "Habanera" by Bizet. Those two and a number of other European tangos may be found in "A Little Couple-Dancemusik" by Peter Barnes, a Boston - based folk musician.

All of these are in concert pitch, so if you are playing with an accompanist, or just want to sound like the recordings, you will have to transpose (unless you want to play it on a "C").

Giora Feidman's stuff is available from Tara Publications, http://www.jewishmusic.com

Peter Barnes' stuff is available from him at a very long and complicated web address which I will post later.

I find dancing the tango tricky enough without holding my clarinet between my teeth!

Ricordi in Buenos Aires publish arrangements for two recorders of Mi Buenos Aires Querido, Por Una Cabeza and a couple of other classic tangos. They work just as well for two clarinets. I arranged a number of tangos for myself by transposing the song line from bandoneon books.

This is a fairly extensive list of Piazzola's compositions.
