I am searching for compositions for wind quintet and orchestra. I have an ensemble ready to perform, and an orchestra ready to accompany, if I can only find some music (and perhaps a recording) for this genre.
Any leads would be most welcome.

How about 4 out of 5? There is the Mozart Concertante for oboe, clarinet, horn and bassoon w/ orchestra.

Thanks for the leads.
With a few more hours on the Internet, I've found the Husa Serenade, Elter Concerto, Blacher Konzertstuke, and the Maxwell Davies Sinfonia Concertante (with the publishers as well!). Also located two other pieces by Miklos Maros and Walter Ross.
So far, I've only been able to locate a recording of the Husa.
Has anyone actually performed any of these pieces?

Douglas - I agree with you - this is surely one of the most beautiful pieces ever written for winds.
