I just registered (along with 3 friends) for the Gregory Smith clinic on March 16th at International Musical Suppliers in Des Plaines, IL. I couldn't make it to the Larry Combs clinic and am really looking forward to this one.
I wonder if he'll be bringing any of his mouthpieces to try. . . Several of you on this board rave about them.

Greg is 100% sure to bring a bunch of his mouthpieces, all of which you will be welcome to try (and buy). He's there to give a clinic, but he's also there to sell mouthpieces. Everybody undertands and expects that. It's how he makes part of his living. Everybody benefits.

I do not intend for this to be a commercial, but while we enjoy and appreciate the clinic, we should not forget to patronize the store which is kind enough to be sponsering this learning opportunity. Without our support, these clinics most likely would not be scheduled. Greg will be pushing his mpcs (and they are great!!), but the store also has many other fine clarinet products in stock for us to try, and buy. So, break open those piggy banks, and be there--don't be square!! (opps--there I go again showing my age) Good (IMS) Clarineting!!!!!
