Hi everyone!!!
Well it's TMEA time again here in Texas, and I have been waiting for this weekend for a good while! I love the convention and performances, have since the first time I went a couple years ago. I plan on trying out some Buffet Vintages because I plan on purchasing a set in the summer. Hope to see you there (if you're in the Lone Star State that is)!!!!

Good to see you're trying out the Buffet's - they are damned fine clarinets. Don't give up on Selmer and LeBlanc, - you might find them good, too.

Diz,
I'm planning on trying out everything else tomorrow. They didn't have the Vintages at any of the booths, everyone was out of stock when they packed up for TMEA, including the Muncy's who are to borrow from a snippet of your expression "damned fine" people also. I tried Patricolas though, but still haven't found them to my liking. I like my barrel/mpc/reed/lig setup, yet those horns don't respond well for me. I'm gonna try out some Leblancs and Selmers, maybe the models with the auxilary Eb/Ab lever like the Festival and Prestige I got my grubby little clarinet playing hands on today!!! Have fun everyone and happy clarineting and clarinet hunting!
Jose (akaJoey to friends ie: the BB)
