I don't know where you live, but Woodwind and Brasswind has shipped to me in 3 days. Pretty amazing.

Another thought--why not straighten your bent lig if it is not broken?? You can resahpe it by putting it on your mouthpiece and gently and slowly tightening it until the original shape is somewhat restored. Then, take it off, continue to even out some of the sharper creases left with a pair of needle nosed pliers (or your fingers if it is not too stiff a lig) and then put it back on your mpc for final re-shaping. If you are clever and careful, this proceedure should work and get your trusty old ligiture back on the job, as good as ever. Good clarineting!!!! (and when you drop something, be careful where you step back to find it)

(Oh, Connie)
Didja happen t' read the past posts re: 'alternative' ligatures?
Maybe you wouldn't consider resorting to Velcro, electrician's tape, rubber bands, shoestring(s) or...(use your imagination).
They may look odd but, hey, whatever works in a pinch... and some of these have actually proven to be pretty good :]
I'd never leave the house without a few rubber bands and some string in my pocket.
Just in case

Ditto on the post above... I've actually found, for me at least, that anything fabric usually works better than a metal ligature. I like the minor amount of restraints fabric ligs (ie BG) put on the ligature, and they're just as convenient as bonade ligs... I've switched back to shoestrings though because they put no harsh pressure on the reed yet hold it firmly even after lots of playing... I tie it on about as fast as someone normally takes with a regular lig anyway.
my two-hundreths of a dollars worth

Woodwind and Brasswind or Muncy Winds ships items out fast. I just ordered an Eb barrel from Muncy and it was at my door before I put down the phone, (not literally but you get the idea.) I've had simmilar experiences with the WW&BW.

Ditto to Muncy Winds (The owner is a very interesting and knowledgeable clarinetist.) and Woodwind and Brasswind. I've ordered from both successfully.

As in the title of this thread, let me say a good word for the Bonade inverted, I like it. I use my fabric-rubber lig "reversed" on my bass cl mp to apply holding pressure on the reed via the bars as the Bonade does. Like it also. Don
