Anyone has experiences with a MC Gregory Master Hollywood clarinet mouthpiece? How does this compare to other very good clarinet mouthpiece? I saw one MC Gregory Master going for $150. Does this sound reasonable?

Not to me, but they are getting a little harder to find. I don't know too much about the history, but I was told that he was a player in the recording bands in LA. Perhaps true, perhaps not. I've got one that I really like for jazz style playing

I use a "Hollywood" Gregory mpc on my alto sax and I like it. I bought it from a local sax player for $125.00 about four years ago and have been using it ever since. He got his from Ralph Morgan. It's tone has the "kick" I need for jazz but also the silky smooth sound for cool legato passages. A real versatile mpc, I use it no matter what venue I play--however, that venue is usually combo or big band swing/jazz. Have never had the opportunity to try a clarinet version--might be interesting to do so. All the info that I have for now--Good Clarineting!!!!!

Yes, it is rather famous for its saxophone mouthpieces.
