Just how "base" is this clarinet? I'm no prude, but I'd like to know where it's been before I go anywhere near it....

The details have me confused about one thing: Is it a typo raelly indicating a "bass clarinet" or is the word "base" as in standard?
Also, ron, I have nothing against the seller. The reason I pointed out this particualr item was to show just how little information can be submitted. (Not to mention what mundane details, such as color, can be pointed out without any mention of anything like a serial number or even type of clarinet it is.)
I think it's obvious that this seller does not have much experience with instruments.

Could it be that it's a clarinet that was used on a military post?
Wait! I know! I know! It's that same plastic bass clarinet that was cracked near the neck that someone brought our attention to last week - Someone was using it as a baseball bat!
BTW, the seller probably thinks the word "bass" always rhymes with "mass."

Oh, well, ron, the smileys make all the difference. (wink)
A *bass* clarinet, as in bass fish? That's under the topic of unusual things to make a clarinet from!!
