 Ensemble Books for Young Students

I operate chamber groups in the summertime, and am always in search of good materials for younger students. A Sneezy search found no discussion of various ensemble books, so I would like to hear from others who use ensemble books with young students (1-3 years playing experience)

I have currently worked with:

Yamaha Band Ensembles (Reilly & Kinyon) [Alfred] - Very pedestrian arrangements and an awful lot of out-and-out unison. Final notes almost never harmonized. Ironically, this is the students' favorite book because of tutti rhythms.

Trios for All (Henderson & Stoutamire) [WB/Belwin] - Good quality arrangements, with more independent rhythms.

Chamber Music for Three Clarinets Vol.1 (Voxman) [HL/Rubank] - Nice arrangements that my stronger young ones can handle, but that I can enjoy playing with other adults.

Ensemble Classics for Clarinet Quartet Vol.1 (Voxman) [HL/Rubank] - Very good arrangements. I can't understand why it's rated as Grade 1, though.

Chamber Music for Three Saxophones Vol.1 (Voxman) [HL/Rubank] - Arranged for AAT. Very good book, but sax trios are scarce as hen's teeth and I need more good ones at all difficulty levels.

I am curious about the following items in terms of arrangement quality, difficulty level, interoperability with books of same series for other instruments, and any other comments that you wish to make. If anyone knows of resources online that discuss such books, I would also appreciate it. Searches have been unsuccessful on Sneezy, Yahoo, and MusicSearch.

Quartets for All (Henderson & Stoutamire) [WB/Belwin]

Classical Trios For All (Ryden) [WB/Belwin]

Classical Quartets for All (Ryden) [WB/Belwin]

Woodwind Ensembles for Young Performers (Kinyon) [Alfred]

Saxophone Ensembles for Young Performers (Kinyon) [Alfred]

24 Clarinet Quartets (Hudadoff) [WB/Belwin]

24 Saxophone Quartets (Hudadoff) [WB/Belwin]

Trios for Clarinets (Cacavas) [Alfred] (also Trios for Flutes, Trios for Saxophones)

More Trios for Clarinets (Cacavas) [Alfred] (also More Trios for flutes, saxophones, etc.)

Three's A Crowd (Power) [Presser]

Any other good easy trio/quartet collections out there?

Allen; There were two collections that are out of print but you might be able to get a hold of La Renaissance and the Minstrel's Gallery. Published by Universal. Parts for any combination of instruments, quartets. Mostly renaissance composers, so odd combinations sound fine. The other is Ten British Folk Songs for clarinet quartet. I don,t have the parts with me, so I will get back to you on Monday with the publisher. They are excellent for any age!
