I do that pretty often to my clarinet. I take all the keys off just for the fun of it, sometimes clean it a bit, and then have fun putting it back together. Only takes five or ten minutes to take it apart five or ten more minutes to put it together.
It's a great feeling to hold all the keys in the palm of my hand, and it feels wierd to hold a lightweight clarinet with no keys.
