 How are Tenon Caps Installed?
Author: Steve

Seeing as a I have an older Buffet Master Model.. I can see a Tenon Cap in it's future as the wood at the bottom of the lower joint where it fits into the bell looks like it is starting to chip.
What process is used to put a tenon cap on?
Is it glued, pressed or what? And does one have to sand the tenon down slightly to accomodate the extra thickness of Tenon Cap? I have never read or seen a description of this process before.
