Hi-
Does anyone know of any music stores that stock clarinet orchestral parts? Patelson's in NY is usually good about having them in stock but they're out of the Mendelssohn Scherzo and I need to get hold of a copy ASAP. Thank you...

Lori -
Jeanne stocks the standard parts, including the Mendelssohn. Their site is at http://www.jeanne-inc.com/ , and you'll need the Adobe Acrobat reader to browse their catalog.
The standard Mendelssohn nasty bits appear in all the excerpt books, too, including Book 1 of the McGinnis set.
Best regards.

Hickey's is always special order for orchestra parts and they take a while (they're the local place for me). They have an excellent selection of solos, though.
Luck's Music is very good and fast (four days last time I ordered) but they have a $10 minimum order. http://www.lucksmusic.com
