Can some one help me find a way to convince my band directors into starting a clarinet choir?

First of all, you need to find people who would like to be in the clarinet choir...maybe you could have people sign a piece of paper that says they are interested in participating in it, find some music for you guys to play, and ask him politely and enthusiastically if he would buy the music and rehearse you guys, and see what he says!

I agree-- start it yourself. That's what I had to do last year, but it was a ton of fun and quite worth it. We got "sold" at our school's silent auction and ended up getting a gig or two out of the deal. There's some great quartet music out there that you can double parts on... and some other stuff that's just tons of fun.
Good luck!
Chrissie
