Ahhrrrr.... I am living in Hong Kong.
Don't spend even 1 dollar in any instrument made in China but Bassoon form Beijing.
Don't use any reed made form China.
Don't buy any instrument in Tom Lee at Hong Kong, instrument price in any place even Japan are lower.
What should you buy form China?
Clarinet Music ! Publisher own their "copyright" in China, that's legal. 10 Dollars US, you may get 2 very nice cover clarient exam books. That's including most important concerto and etude, add some extra works compose by asian.
Music score also are the good choice. The "Yellow Cover" score in chinese edition, such as Beethoven Symphony No.5, cost you 0.5 US dollars, Yeap!! Really, less than 1 dollars.
Wish you have a nice travel!
